My Chemical Romance has taught me so much...

They taught me to never take anyone's shit,

and not to let them take me alive,

They taught me that it will always get better

They taught me that I'm not the only fucked up one

They made me believe that I was beautiful

Most of all, they saved my life.
Not suicidally saved it, but I don't know where I'd be right now if I hadn't started listening to them. Probably hanging out with the same preppy people I was before I met my best friend. o.o

Frank taught me that homophobia is gay

Gerard taught me that my hair doesn't always have to be perfect all the time

Ray taught me that afros make everything better

Mikey made me learn that it's okay to be quiet


I really love My Chemical Romance. As you can tell. But at least I have good reasons.


I also love Panic! At The Disco, The Brobecks, Green Day, Say Anything, Simple Plan, The Academy Is..., The Used, System Of A Down, Nirvana, Foxy Shazam, Blink 182, Mindless Self Indulgence, Fall Out Boy, and The Ramones.
